Special Service: Group Acupuncture
Group Acupuncture Services at AHHC for Adults and Children
AHHC is offering Group Acupuncture Sessions for certain conditions that are prevalent in our society. We are providing this special service in order to expand access to the wonderful benefits of acupuncture. The Group Sessions will be provided for the following:
- Weight Loss (specifically for reducing cravings and excessive appetite)
- Smoking Cessation
- Recovery from Substance Addiction
- Children’s “ZEN” Wellness Sessions
These sessions will provide children ages 9 to 15 with gentle treatments that will address stress, anxiety and difficulty sleeping. Children will be treated with especially thin and smooth needles designed for them. Needle-free treatment options will be available upon request and as deemed needed.
What is Group Acupuncture, and how is the Service Provided?
Group Acupuncture, at AHHC, involves the treatment of patients in a group setting. Patients are treated while resting in comfortable recliners in a serene treatment area. Patients remain fully clothed with points applied primarily to their ears, and, as needed, arms and hands.
Although treatment is administered in a group setting each patient’s condition is known only to the practitioner and is never discussed in front of the group. Confidentiality is of the highest importance.
The Group Acupuncture Sessions will take place three times per week. Patients may register for as many sessions as they prefer. Please contact us for specific information regarding scheduling, fees, and questions about treatments.
How to Register for Community Acupuncture Sessions
For your convenience, we will offer registration for treatments in advance. This is important in order to ensure that sessions start and end on time. A 24-hour cancellation notice will be strictly enforced. Please contact our office to learn more about prices and time availability.
