At AHHC our patients are our sole focus, and we address each person’s needs with the understanding that everyone is unique and has different challenges and concerns. Our holistic healing services are administered to promote healing as well as prevention, and are skillfully provided by nationally board certified and New Jersey licensed Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine practitioners, and by our Medical Massage Therapist who is licensed in multiple modalities. Meet Magalys
Magalys Valera is the founder and clinical director of the AHHC. As a Nationally Board Certified Acupuncturist licensed to practice in both New York and New Jersey, Magalys has been trained in both Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Acupuncture and Japanese Style Acupuncture. She has 18 years of experience as an Acupuncturist and holds a Masters of Science in Acupuncture, and Certification in Chinese Herbal Medicine. As part of her practice she incorporates the use of Tui Na (acupressure/Chinese body works), Cupping, Gua Sha, Moxibustion and other needle-free treatments, as needed, to achieve optimal patient health.
